  • My Cozy Co You will love it if you want to learn how to make a button pocket and french seams! really a great pattern to practice new skills. Instructions as always are clear and she guide you on every step.

  • While she was sleeping The pattern is aimed at an intermediate sewist, however an adventurous beginner can successfully take on this project. A partial placket looks more complicated than it actually is. Laura's instructions are very clear, so if you have never made a partial placket before, this is a great pattern to try this technique.

  • Made by Sara Laura is one of the best pattern makers out there. She makes patterns of such an amazing quality (and by quality I mean well drafted pattern pieces, notches, good grading, great instructions and all the best sewing techniques, no shortcuts, no clumsy "techniques").

  • Buzzmills ... not to mention that (as always) the instructions are impeccable. All of Laura's tutorials are detailed and easy to understand with illustrations, tips and PDF layers for each size.

The Rushbrook also has all of the seams either finished with bias binding or by using French Seams, so it looks as nice on the inside as it does on the outside.

  • Fairies, Bubbles & Co The finishing in this dress is spotless, you could, almost, wear it inside out. The instructions include French seams, bias binding and hem facing (optional).

  • S is for Sewing Construction-wise I was extremely impressed with this pattern – it includes french seams and bias bound armholes, making it not only comfortable to wear but also as beautiful in the inside as the outside. Laura provides very detailed step-by-step instructions and information on a number of techniques that are really useful (I was amazed by her bias binding instructions – one of my favorites ever!).

  • Stitched by Jennie At first glance, you may think this pattern is just for little girls (and it does look adorable little girls). However, I was able to make a beautiful top that my 13 year old will actually wear.
